Overview

The largest offshore oil field in the world, stretching about 50 km by 12 km in the Persian Gulf. Khafji, shared with the neutral zone, sits at its northern end. Safaniya heavy crude feeds domestic refineries after decades of export. Aramco keeps it central to marine capacity plans.
